The food stalls and the Hsinchu Cheng Huang Temple (新竹城隍廟) been around since 1750s, needless to say the food’s near to perfection. Local favorites: rice flour wrapped meat buns, oyster pancake, pork innards soup, Hsinchu meat balls & rice noodles, fish & squid dumpling soup and shaved ice. In snack heaven indeed.
